You have found the blog of Alice Feigel. I am a senior at the University of Florida and a telecommunication major.

This semester I am taking my final English class for my English minor. And that class is Internet Literature, or E-Literature. Our project for the semester is to create a blog and record our understanding and opinions on aesthetics of E-literature based on Italo Calvino’s Six Memos for the Next Millennium and the basics of graphic design.

Italo Calvino explored in his book the six important elements of literature that make it entertaining and memorable. We are applying these elements to Internet Literature.

As you read this blog, you will find out more about my interests. I would say I am a found object kind-of person. And luckily my roommates are too. Our house has a very eclectic feel. We love to go to the thrift store to find random knick knacks. I believe my aesthetic follows this. I don’t choose things because they match. Instead I like things that are individually interesting. It is great when two things I found at two different places just happen to fit together perfectly. But, if they don’t, I am OK with that too.
